Doctor Biography

Dr. Sk. Mohammad Murad is an experienced ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon serving as Assistant Professor at Chittagong Lions Eye Institute & Hospital, Chattogram, Bangladesh. With over 14 years of experience in ophthalmology, he is dedicated to providing high-quality and patient-centered eye care. He completed his MBBS from Jahurul Islam Medical College in 2004 and earned MCPS (Ophthalmology) from BCPS in 2011, followed by FCPS (Ophthalmology) in 2024. His academic achievements reflect a strong commitment to professional excellence and lifelong learning. Dr. Murad has specialized training in Phacoemulsification (Phaco) Surgery and Small Incision Cataract Surgery (SICS), with particular expertise in the diagnosis and management of cataract and other common eye diseases. He regularly participates in professional workshops, scientific meetings, and continuing medical education programs and is a Life Member of the Ophthalmological Society of Bangladesh (OSB).
